How do you keep pasta from sticking to pasta salad? 

First, you have to make sure your water is boiling before you add noodles 

Secondly, you stir your pasta 

Make sure you DO NOT add oil to your pasta if you are making plans on eating it with sauce 

Third, Rinse your cooked pasta with water, but only if you are not eating right away 

How long should pasta salad sit before serving? 

Refrigerator Cold Pasta is Not the best thing.  

Its much better to serve the pasta at room temperature, which helps your pasta have a more appealing texture and it lets the flovors loose.  

It’s important to make sure you don’t let the pasta sit out for more than a couple hours so that it avoids any food poisoning 

How long should pasta salad chill? 

This is dificult. Pasta Salad needs to refrigerate for 4 to 24 hours for the flavours to meld.  

Can you make pasta salad 2 days ahead? 

Yes, In a large bowl, combine the pasta, tomato, lettuce, bacon, red onion and the dressing.  

Those ingredients should be tossed until well combined.  

If you are making pasta salad in advance, then you can simply store the dressing separately and toss it 10 minutes before serving.

The original pesto alla genovese, which is the number 1 pesto recipe in some people’s mind, is made with Genovese basil, coarse salt, garlic and ligurian extra virgin olive oil. 


 How do you make pesto from scratch? 

In order to make pesto from scratch you combine basil, garlic, parmesan and pine nuts in a bowl of a food processor, season with salt and pepper.  

With the motor running, you add olive oil in a slow stream until it is emulsified 

Store the pesto in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to a week
